2016 was a big year for Not Entirely Ordinary. It was the first full year since the relaunch and it has been an eye-opening year for sure. Before, when I started blogging, I didn’t stick to any sort of schedule, content, look, etc. But this past year I have worked really hard to make this blog something to be proud of.
For the most part my makeup doesn’t change all that much from season to season. I just make minor tweaks like reaching for a more subtle pearl highlight instead of a golden, sun-kissed glow.
How in the world did April just happen? This year is flying by! Anywho…let’s get into my favorites for the month of April.

After my post on my Everyday Makeup Tutorial I got some questions regarding eyeliner. It’s one of those finishing touches to eye makeup that really enhances the makeup itself, as well as the eyes. If done properly, your eyes will really pop thanks to the eyeliner.
I’ve been talking about it for a while but I finally sat down and snapped some step-by-step pics of my standard makeup look.
I tend to keep a rolling wish list of items I’d love to get, items I need to get, and items I want to get.
I’m a creature of habit when it comes to my makeup routine, at least for my face. I tend to keep my face makeup simple, understated. No crazy contouring, highlighting, or anything like that. I like to keep my face simple and have fun with my eye makeup. When I find products I like, I use them all up before moving on to something new.
