2016 was a big year for Not Entirely Ordinary. It was the first full year since the relaunch and it has been an eye-opening year for sure. Before, when I started blogging, I didn’t stick to any sort of schedule, content, look, etc. But this past year I have worked really hard to make this blog something to be proud of.
Is there anything more satisfying than taking your hair down from a braid at the end of the day? Ok, donuts, pizza, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream.
For the most part my makeup doesn’t change all that much from season to season. I just make minor tweaks like reaching for a more subtle pearl highlight instead of a golden, sun-kissed glow.
When I say this stuff doesn’t budge, I mean it DOES NOT budge. I love my winged liner and having tried many different products I have landed on the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I have no specific tricks to getting the perfect wing and I can’t tell you the secret to matching wings either.
I’m trying to avoid using terms like “Fall Transition” because I’m afraid the Pumpkin Spice Troll will find me and attack with all the PSLs Starbucks can make.
Well, July just happened. Let’s get to the favorites.
Happy National Lipstick Day! To celebrate, let’s talk about my current favorite lipsticks.
June was an insanely busy month for us. It always happens when you schedule a trip at the end of the month, the rest of the month is crazy busy trying to get all the things done in order to take said vacation with a clear mind and an empty inbox. Hubs and I decided to take separate vacations. He went to Nicaragua for a week to surf his brains out.
This month’s favorites might feel all over the place but it makes sense in my head.
Hubs made a comment about this perfume saying that it smells like summer which is perfect because…summer here we come.
How in the world did April just happen? This year is flying by! Anywho…let’s get into my favorites for the month of April.
It seems like this month I’ve got makeup on the brain. Last week I posted my top five favorite spring nail colors. This week I’m talking about my most used lip colors. I’ve only recently embraced the art of lipstick. Yeah, it’s art. Go with it. I have never been a huge fan of lipstick.
