As I’ve mentioned before, hubs and I will be cruising to Mexico for Thanksgiving this year. Since we won’t be able to set up our own Thanksgiving table, I turned to one of my friends who kills it in the Table Decor department. Jennie hosts quite a large Thanksgiving celebration every year. She provides the table space and the potatoes while her guests are in charge of filling out the menu card with the rest of the Turkey Day staples. Every year I watch as she plans an elegant yet whimsical tablescape with a mixture of textures, colors, florals, and vintage pieces she has had for years. This year she went with a neutral color scheme with greens, golds, whites, and browns. I love the paper runner she uses down the middle of her table with print of leaves and acorns. The gold pattern in the drinking glasses of arrows and feathers is the perfect compliment to the elegant gold rim around her grandmother’s china. My favorite element to her table is the intricately woven napkins rings. It’s just the right touch of rustic to bring this entire table together.
The candlesticks belonged to her grandmother as well.
Jennie is a master of online shopping and has utilized her skills year after year to find the perfect elements to create her amazing tables. The garland came from Trader Joes and she picked up the white hydrangas from her local grocery store.

But her masterpiece doesn’t end at the table. She has a few more elements sprinkled around that tie everything together. And her amazing wine and cheese spread is the perfect pairing when you’re waiting for everyone to arrive.
