When I say this stuff doesn’t budge, I mean it DOES NOT budge. I love my winged liner and having tried many different products I have landed on the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper. I have no specific tricks to getting the perfect wing and I can’t tell you the secret to matching wings either. It’s a glorious day when I get both eyes to match but I know that’s like finding a unicorn. At least I know this liner, once dry, will not move during the day. On the flip side, it’s a bit of a bear to get off but a little extra massaging with cleansing oil seems to do the trick for me.
To me there’s nothing more fall than the perfect maroon nail polish. Ok, scarves, boots, leaves, pumpkin stuff, but still…maroon nail polish screams fall to me. My go-to is Essie’s Berry Naughty. I don’t necessarily subscribe to the thought that there are certain seasons for certain polish colors. I love rocking black nails in the summer and have been known to go bright pink in the winter just because. But when I see a pretty deep maroon I am instantly transported to fall no matter what time of year it actually is.
I have had long hair for a year now and while most days I love it, I do find myself coveting the shorter locks simply because it’s easier to style. I don’t plan on chopping my hair off anytime soon, the hubs would be devastated, but I am constantly trying and retrying all sorts of products to make styling easier and less abrasive on my hair. I’ve been using Argan oil on my hair off and on for the last two years while growing it out and thankfully TJ Maxx carries the Argan Magic Intensive Hair Oil. It leaves my ends soft, shiny, and not crunchy. With flat irons and curling wands you can get some crunchy ends for sure. This also provides the necessary heat protection for the rest of my hair. And as a bonus, it’s smells really good.
In the nature of full disclosure, the biggest reason I love the Fruit Punch flavor of the Crystal Light on the Go packs is absolutely because it tastes like Kool-Aid, only without the sugar and calories and the guilt. I will mix up one pack in a large water bottle and keep it in my fridge. I know this is essentially the exact opposite of the whole “On the Go” concept but I do use them on the go too…just not as much. Sometimes water just gets boring, especially when I’m at home. Don’t know what that’s about.
A friend turned the hubs and I on to Apple Music about a month ago and we’ve been obsessed with it ever since. You do have to pay a monthly subscription fee ($9.99 for single plan, $14.99 for family plan), but it’s so seriously worth it. You have access to essentially all the music in the iTunes repetoire. You can just listen to it or download it if you like without having to pay per song. But more than that, you will have access to some truly awesome playlists.
