Hubs and I didn’t have any Halloween Party plans so we opted for a getaway of sorts for the day. What better place to disconnect and just be happy than Disneyland…on Halloween!
The decorations were fantastic, the costumes were awesome, and the crowds were surprisingly not too bad. Highlight of our day, The Haunted Mansion for sure. They transformed the ride into The Nightmare Before Christmas. They took you right to Halloweentown. Our faces were sore from the ear-to-ear grins plastered on our faces the moment we stepped onto the Mansion grounds, greeted by Jack as Sandy Claws. As an added bonus, it’s also the 60th Anniversary of the park so we got to be there during the Diamond Celebration of Disneyland…lots of sparkles.
We ate, drank, rode and were merry all day long…at least until we were kindly ushered out of the park with everyone else not sporting a special trick-or-treating wristband. After a lovely dinner at Napa Rose at the Grand Californian, we bid adieu to the park and vowed the next time we came back we wouldn’t leave again without season passes.
